Former pupil Mark Prisk, who is Shadow Minister for Business and Enterprise, as well as Shadow Minister for Cornwall - there are no Tory MPs in Cornwall - talked to 5th and 6th Formers on January 21st about his experience as a Conservative MP, and why he decided to become a politician. Whilst he was a pupil at Truro School (1973-1980), he was a star public speaker and, in the Upper Sixth, he won the Speaker of the House of Commons Prize for public speaking at the national final in the Café Royal, London.
