Oliver of the 2nd Form has been selected for the 5-man national Optimist sailing squad and will compete in the World Championships in Langkawi , Malaysia, later this year. Competition for places on the World Championships Team is extremely fierce and these are Britain's best junior sailors. Just to compete at the Selection Event sailors have had to gain an invitation from results gained racing in huge fleets of up to 250 other boats. For Ollie this is a highlight of his sailing career and is the goal he has been working towards for the last few years. This summer he will be competing at home and abroad in preparation for the World Championships  whilst working on tactics and fitness.
