Fifth Former Alice was top British girl in the World Fencing Championships in Azerbaijan in April, in the sabre class. She is currently ranked 2nd in Great Britain in the Under 17 age-group, and has recently competed in Hungary, France, Germany, Italy and Greece. She still has another season at Under 17 level, but will compete in the open senior nationals later in the year; she is aiming for an international medal before too long. The Olympics in 2016 and 2020 are also on her horizon.
