Junior Boys’ Boarding Update: 28 November

The boys have had a busy weekend.

On Saturday Anthony left early to play Rugby for the U15 ‘A’ team against West Buckland. He played very well and helped the team to an impressive 46 – 15 victory. Roman also left to compete in a fencing competition at Millfield School and finished in third place in the U13 age group. Nick was also in action on Sunday during the Cornwall hockey trials. Well done to all of the Poltisco boys involved with sport this weekend.

During the Friday evening the boys were excited as the new house PS4 arrived. The boys were all very keen to help set it up and then enjoyed playing on it. Fifa 2017 was the popular choice. Basketball was also a popular draw the sports centre during the evening with some boys joining in with Trennick. On Saturday evening the boys enjoyed their traditional pizza supper while watching some of the International rugby highlights.

After brunch on Sunday the boys enjoyed some Cornish culture. We had an outing to The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth. The timing was good as it coincided with the Viking exhibition that was currently on show. The boys were very lucky to escape afterwards as they had a real life Viking warrior in residence.

I signalled to the boys that the trip was over in the standard Maritime fashion.
