Girls’ Hockey Festival Match Report

Wednesday 12th October

With two teams entered into the Schools, Sports, Partnership festival it was something we should get a good result from. Both teams battled and fought hard, they linked the balls with each other well ending with great passages of play. With maintaining the majority of the possession throughout all the games, the one thing that was letting us down was scoring the goals. We did manage to find the net on a few occasions and enough for one team to get through into the final.
The team work and team bond of both teams was fantastic to watch, they supported each other and it was great to see the U13 side even though they were split into two teams one unit. It was unfortunate for the A team losing out to Penryn in the final in the last 30 seconds on a quick break. This is great preparation for the County Tournament later in the year, as we know what sort of level we are competing against.

Great performance by all, Well Done Girls!
