Block Football Fixture vs Brannel School 

Under 12: D 2.2

This was an excellent game of football. After a couple of early chances for Truro, it was Brannel who took the lead with a well taken goal. The 2nd half continued to flow from end to end. Brannel furthered their lead with another good goal. However, Truro fought back with Cameron scoring an excellent goal. A briiliant cross from Sam gave Alfie the opportunity to equalise with a header at the back post. With the last kick of the game Truro nearly won the game but the ball rebounded off the post. Darcy and Alfie in goal played partuculary well.

 

Under 13: L 4.2

Truro didn’t get the result they deserved. Large parts of the game was played in the Brannel half. Unfortunately Brannel scored too easily when they did attack. Apart for the two goals, Truro hit the woodwork on five occasions. It was a good performance form the Under 13’s who have improved throughout the term.

 

Under 14: W 3.1

This was a comfortable win for the Under 14’s. Once they got used to playing on a 3G surface the boys dominated the game.

 

Under 15: W 1.0

The Under 15s missed chance after chance in this game. With 8 minutes left it seemed it wouldn’t be there day when William blazed over from 6 yards. However, a free-kick 25 yards from goal gave William the opportunity to redeem himself. A great curling strike saw the ball nestle into the top corner. This ended a super terms football for the U15s, which has seen them lose only one game in County, and that was on penalties.

 

2nd XI v Camborne.

The 2nd XI played Camborne in the league and dispatched them 5.0. Goals from Fred Young, Tom Rimmington (2), Elliot Edmondson, Mike May gave Truro another 3 points.
