Under 16 v Sarum Academy
The Under 16s played in the last 16 of ESFA National Cup against Sarum Academy (Salisbury). After a bright opening 20 minutes, Mike created an excellent opportunity to score but his shot narrowly went passed the post. Sarum managed to score on the break and soon added to their total. Truro pushed hard to reduce the deficit but Sarum continued to be clinical in front of goal. Nevertheless, Truro never gave up and showed some excellent promise with the season in front of them.

2nd XI v Truro College
Truro School Under 18’s enjoyed a 3-0 victory over local rivals Truro College on a cold first day of the season. Having missed out on any opportunities to train due to the poor weather, Truro School started relatively slowly, and despite enjoying much of the possession, they were unable to convert any opportunities until late in the first half, with a good goal from Charlie.

In the second half, the school really began to find their rhythm and some excellent technical skill was demonstrated with fine passing and great movement. Many more opportunities were created and Charlie converted his second of the match. Soon after Tom scored a well worked goal to give the school a well-deserved win. Credit must go to the keeper of the opposition, who made a number of fine saves restricting the school from scoring even more on a number of occasions.
