Football Report: January 2017

28 fixtures have been played in January.

The Under 13s progressed in the County Cup with a closely fought game against Penair. Charlie scored the winning goal to win 2.1 The Under 12s went out of the ESFA cup in another close game. This time a goal in the last few minutes gave St. Ives a 3.2 victory. The Under 14, 15 and 16s have had tough fixtures but continue to be enthusiastic for match-days. 

Our 2nd XI recorded an excellent 4.0 win against Redruth, and pushed Millfield close before losing 4.2. The 1st XI remain unbeaten with two victories against Truro College and an excellent victory against Helston. Millfield proved to be a real challenge for the players. However, they played superbly and gained a draw 2.2, with Danny and Elliot scoring brilliant goals. 

Our block fixture against Millfield provided over 100 boys and a girl to test themselves against some of the best young players in the Country.
