Truro School Accommodation
The Ideal Location
Truro School is a short walk away from Truro Cathedral and the City centre and ideally situated for access to Falmouth Marina, the Roseland Peninsula, Newquay and the North Cornwall coast.
During the School holiday periods at Easter and in the summer we are able to make the boarding school accommodation available to a wide range of groups visiting Cornwall including sports teams, brass bands and choirs.
We aim to ensure that all rooms are clean and comfortable and the first class dining facilities are within easy reach of the accommodation.
Malvern House
Refurbished in 2006, Malvern House is situated a short walk from the main School building and provides bright and comfortable bedrooms some of which overlook Truro Cathedral.
There is a small lounge area complete with TV, DVD, a small electric piano and comfy seating, as well as a small kitchen area with microwave oven and kettle facilities.
The accommodation of 30 beds mainly comprises of twin rooms with a few single rooms available.
Trennick Hall
Trennick Hall is situated within the main School building above the dining halls and has a communal area on the upper floor which has comfortable seating, TV & DVD facilities, pool table and table football.
All/some guest bedrooms are upstairs and due to the age and nature of the building there are no lifts. The stairs are normal risers and there is a banister rail.
PLEASE NOTE
- Access to Truro School, particularly Trennick, by coach is restricted due to the single track and winding nature of the driveway. Coaches should drop passengers off at the bottom of Trennick Lane at the junction with St Clements Hill. If your party is due to arrive by coach, you should advise the coach company accordingly. Every effort will be made to assist guests with their luggage.
- Minimum group of 10 members.
- Due to the age of some of the School buildings disabled access may be limited in some areas. Please contact the Enterprises Office for further advice if necessary.
- There are no cooking facilities in Malvern House or Trennick. All meals must be taken in the dining facilities. Packed lunches will be provided on request.

- All bedrooms are carpeted and beds are made with a duvet.
